this was just basically a colouring exercise that i tried a different colouring style that i may use in my interactive comic which was using different layers and doing different bits of shading on each layer then using the blend tool to make the colours blend slightly.
I started of with a image that had no colour in and put the line work over a blank layer with a white background.

I then created a new layer under the line work and on top of the background and started going through what colours i wanted to use. After choosing the colours i then started colouring in under the line work each bit that was going to be a certain colour.

After colouring it in, I then created another new layer and but put it on top of the colouring layer and started switching between lighter and darker versions of the original colour for the shading areas of the image, After doing the shading i then went over the edges with the blur tool to smoothen out the edges and blend the colours together and make them look smother.

story board idea sketches

pan and zoom demo

with this image we first put it into photoshop to resize the image and then put it in to flash. We then resized the image and clicked on frame 50, then right clicked and turned it into a classic tween giving the zoom effect to it focusing mainly on the clock tower.

with the next image we did the same again but rather than zoom we made it pan across the image instead so that it scrolled along the image.
